The government is seeking new investors for Bank Syariah Indonesia. They are hoping Islamic banks in the Middle East would become strategic investors.

BANK Syariah Indonesia (BSI) brought good news to capital market investors near the end of Ramadan fasting month. The largest Islamic bank in Indonesia planned to announce its first quarter performance this year. “It’s green,” said BSI Corporate Secretary Gunawan Arif Hartoyo to Tempo on Friday, April 14. ‘Green’ here refers to positive financial statements showing increased revenue and profits.
