SINCE the government officially launched a crude palm oil (CPO) futures exchange platform on October 13, Yugieandy Tirta Saputra has been overwhelmed with busy schedules. The Director of Indonesia Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (ICDX) had been contacting 18 companies as members of the CPO exchange daily to ascertain their preparedness for transactions. “We were calling them one by one,” he told Tempo on Friday, October 20.
