The government is currently busy preparing a tax amnesty draft decree. Tax revenues of almost Rp4 trillion are considered very small compared to as yet uncollected taxes.

DISCOUNTS are always very popular with traders as they have proved to be a very successful way of raking in profits. It now seems as the Directorate of Taxation will use this method to increase the number of registered taxpayers and thus raise state revenues.
