Sailing on a Sea of Debt

The situation in Indonesia today is that the country is all but awash in debt. One has to come to terms with the fact that the government's total debt has now reached US$136 billion. Foreign debt accounts for as much as US$70 billion of this amount, while the remainder is made up of guaranteed bonds and bank recapitalization.
These dinosaur debts all but suck the government's budget dry, just to cover interest and debt repayment installments.
