LIKE a sprinter, Indonesia had an excellent start to 2003. In January, Indonesia reported its highest non-oil/gas export figures in history. Sudarti Surbakti, head of the Central Bureau of Statistics, in a press conference organized two weeks ago, said non-oil exports in January increased by almost 16 percent compared to the same period last year.
