AFTER nearly being drowned out by the din of the Gulf War, the Lippo Bank scandal is back in the news. It was not propelled by the Capital Market Supervisory Agency (Bapepam), Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSE), or Bank Indonesia. It was Andang Kosasih, an auditor from PT Provalindo Nusa, who nudged the public's conscience again regarding the case that had the potential to cause the state to suffer trillions of rupiah.
