Jusuf Anwar:"The 2005 State Budget is not realistic"

JUSUF Anwar's intention of retiring following his stint with the Manila based Asian Development Bank, where he had worked as Executive Director for Indonesia and the Pacific since 2000, never happened. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) appointed Jusuf, a former chief of the Capital Markets Supervisory Board (Bapepam), to become Finance Minister. Other names had emerged as candidates for the post, among them Rizal Ramli and Sri Mulyani.
