Indonesia's total exports during September broke through the US$7 billion mark. But the increase is mainly because of price and perhaps will not last long.

PRIOR to the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite Share Index (JCI) setting a record on Tuesday last week, Indonesian exports made history first. One day previously, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) announced that Indonesian exports during September, amounted to a total value of US$7.152 billion, an increase of 41.4 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. This is the highest monthly total in recorded history.
