Pertamina increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by 40 percent effective last Monday, from Rp3,000 per kilogram to Rp4,250. Consequently, the retail price of a 12-kilogram LPG bottle jumped from Rp38,000 to Rp51,000.
