The race to the governor's seat of Bank Indonesia (BI) seems to have only two candidates left: Miranda Swaray Goeltom and Burhanuddin Abdullah. The two candidates proposed by President Megawati Sukarnoputri receive ample support from members of the House of Representatives (DPR).
