LIKE an elderly bachelor, Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) seems to be impatiently waiting to seek the hand of its potential bride. As soon as the government gave the signal to begin a study of the possible merger, BNI went at it very efficiently indeed. "We have already handed it over to Ministry for State-Owned Enterprises," said BNI President Director, Sigit Pramono.
