POOR Aulia Pohan. Whether by coincidence or not, his name is often linked to bad news. Some time ago, as deputy governor of Bank Indonesia in charge of money circulation, he was accused of being involved in a US$7-million banknote paper bidding scandal that was won by PT Pura Barutama, subsequently followed by a long litigation process. His name has once again emerged in the suspected graft case involving the purchase of clearing machines.
