THE World Bank report for last year all but strips away the performance of PLN. Entitled Indonesia Maintaining Stability, Deepening Reform, the 25-page document states that electricity tariffs in Indonesia are already far more expensive than in Thailand, Vietnam and Laos.
Take a look at the WB data (see table). Household electricity consumers here have to pay the equivalent of between 3.72 and 9.97 US cents per kWh, while the tariff in Thailand
