SENIOR economist Faisal Basri felt really concerned about what would happen if the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Money-Laundering were to let the sledgehammer fall on Indonesia. "The sanctions are even worse than those imposed by the Word Trade Organization (WTO)," he said.
The WTO only imposes penalties after the holding of a special session related to the matter in hand. However, punishments from the FATF can be imposed at any time
