IT has been more than two years now since the night skies at Babelan in the Regency of Bekasi, West Java, have been enveloped with a bright red glow. Giant torches, soaring up tens of meters above the surface of the earth, spitting out flames into the upper atmosphere. Phosphorescent lights can be seen for kilometers around, lighting up several places in the regency, 40 kilometers east from Jakarta.
