THE school now looks like an emergency tent, located adjacent to the Lam Kruet Mosque at Lhok Nga, Aceh Besar. Its building and entire equipment were washed away by the tsunami in December. The catastrophe not only destroyed buildings, but also killed some of the teachers and students. There are now only 26 teachers left of the original 40 in Aceh.
