Coconuts were the order of the day at the Food Biotechnology Festival held May 4 at Atma Jaya University in Jakarta. Participants discussed how, with the right technology, coconuts can be turned into anything from cakes made from coconut flour to chewing gum made from the processed charcoal of the shells.
