Anggun Cipta Sasmi has metamorphosed. From a longhaired, irregular-toothed beret-wearing girl, she has transformed into an exotic and mature Asian woman, complete with dark brown skin. It’s not only her physical appearance that’s changed, but also her musical style: from rock to easy listening pop, which she refers to as "Anggun’s type of music" (‘anggun’ means ‘sophisticated’).
