THE Ladia Galaska Highway Project cuts across Sumatra from the Indian Ocean to the Malacca Straits. The 1,659-kilometer highway extends from Meulaboh - Simpang Puet - Jeuram - Lhok Seumot - Ceulala - Takengon - Blangkejeren - Pinding - Lokop, to Peureulak across 1,087 rivers.
