The log fell onto the ground with a thunderous thud. Three men, wielding axes and sweating heavily in the forehead, were breathing with relief. On that day, they defeated the 30-meter-tall tree. Several more were going to be cut down. In another corner, over a dozen bare-breasted men did the same activity. With traditional tools like daggers, axes and adzes, they were working together to fell a number of trees.
