NINE full moons have passed since the eruption of the mud disaster at the oil and gas drilling field of Lapindo Brantas. Having flooded rice fields in a dozen villages and thousands of houses in three subdistricts, the giant mud hole has destroyed the economy of the area.
Here is the state of Porong, Sidoarjo, after nine months of the mud disaster.
