THE black cartons were spread out alongside the Canadian delegation’s tent. Four blond-haired youths shook the cartons with various kinds of messages written on them such as “Is This Leadership?” They also held up a newspaper clipping from The Globe & Mail with the headline ‘Canada climate hypocrite, UN envoy says’.
