FOR the past a couple months Sri has been living with fear of being swept to her death by raging water. The mother of three who lives in an area close to Situ Pedongkelan, a manmade lake in Pasar Rebo, South Jakarta, says she couldn’t sleep every time the images of death and destruction in Situ Gintung she saw on television returned to her mind. “My heart beats faster when its raining cats and dogs.”
