Harita Implicated in Illegal Forest Destruction, Again

Another Harita Group company has been caught clearing forest outside the boundaries of its concession.

Bauxite miner Karya Utama Tambang Jaya, a subsidiary of Harita-owned Cita Mineral Investindo, is operating illegally on 78 hectares of land in West Kalimantan, according to a new report by Forest Monitoring Volunteers of Borneo.
