In the past year, the villages of Sukasari and Cileunya have undergone a dramatic change. Now the two communities, located in Cimahi district, Kuningan, West Java, are green with thousands of teak trees. The trees are short, just 1.5 meters tall, indicating their age of less than one year. Growing in their midst are perennials like mahogany and candlenut trees, in addition to soybeans, groundnuts, bananas, sweet potatoes and chilis.
