At age 70, Dwi Koendoro still diligently puts together his Panji Koming comic from Monday to Friday. The Indonesian Cartoonists Union held a short exhibition for him.

PANJI Koming and his pal, Pailul, are standing by the roadside. They notice five village officials walking in line. Each is carrying a roll of paper. Koming mischievously jokes, “Whoa, how come you’re crowded together like that, must be going on holiday together, eh!” “Shish, we’re all on our way to a symposium. To discuss improving your lot in life,” one of them answers.
