Bird flu comes by surprise in early 2007. Four persons in Jakarta and Tangerang died in less than a week. This situation brings to a total of 79 bird-flu patients in Indonesia since 2005, and 61 of them had passed away. So this country ranks highest in the incidence of avian flu in the world.
