A FORTNIGHT ago, Minister of Finance, Boediono, and Minister of Justice & Human Rights, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, signed a joint decree on the jail-term punishment (gizjeling in the original Dutch colonial terminology) for bad tax debtors. This decree authorizes the Directorate General of Tax to imprison tax dodgers.
