Bat-full of Mystery
Among over a dozen los—train workshops—at Manggarai train station, South Jakarta, there is one occupied by thousands of bats. No one really knows how and when these bats came. Employees at the workshops, specializing in repairing railway coaches, have a name for this bat-infested place, los kampret (kampret is a local term for bats).
