PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) held a training program on business licensing for ultra-micro business actors at the Max One Hotel, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Friday, June 24, 2022.

The training, called the Mekaar Customer Business Meeting (TUNM), was attended by 350 Mekaar PNM customers. They consist of Mekaar Branches Bringkanayya, Tamalanrea, Bringkanayya 2, Panakkukang, Rappocini, Tamalate, and Manggala.

This training is an empowerment work designed through the Business Capacity Development Program (PKU). The participants gain knowledge about business licensing and digital marketing. They are facilitated with an online-based Business Identification Number (NIB) and education on digital marketing by becoming a Grab merchant.

"After receiving the PKU training and the NIB, we hope that the women entrepreneurs can grow their business," said Head of the Business Capacity Development Division (PKU) Dicky Fajrian.

The training resulted in 25,000 Business Identification Numbers (NIB) which were given to ultra-micro women entrepreneurs throughout Indonesia. As of June 23, 2022, PNM has distributed financing of Rp130.75 trillion to 11.97 million PNM Mekaar customers. Currently, PNM has 3,498 PNM Mekaar service offices and 688 PNM Micro Capital Service Unit (ULaMM) service offices throughout Indonesia. (*)
