PNM Collaborates with the Women of Fatayat NU

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani or PNM signed a collaboration with Fatayat NU at the Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday, December 23, 2022. This collaboration is expected to become a platform for the education and improvement of women's economic development, especially in the PNM Mekaar MSMEs, as well as having an impact in the surrounding community.
“This collaboration becomes a platform for women’s economic development as well as the comprehension for the increase of business capacity, including education, which is expected to provide the understanding of smart business management, especially for women as a great force to improve business, especially in both small and medium businesses in Fatayat NU and its surroundings," said Operational Director of PT PNM, Sunar Basuki.
The cooperation program titled "Women's Economic Empowerment in Increasing MSME Business Capacity" has an MSME digital marketing development program, capacity building innovation for MSME product development, MSME on boarding to go export, MSME product down-streaming by Fatayat NU, marketing strategies to increase sales and facilitate MSME legality.
The signing of the cooperation was attended by the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, Minister of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas, Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Jazilul Fawaid, Chairman of the Executive Board of Nahdatul Ulama K.H. Yahya Cholil Staquf, Trustee of PP Fatayat NU Rustini Murtadho, PNM Operational Director Sunar Basuki, and PNM Corporate Secretary L. Dodot Patria Ary.
Fatayat NU has a strategic role as a women's organization that encourages women to have sufficient competitiveness and competence. Civil society groups, namely community organizations, have long been building the competitiveness, competence and capacity of these women, bearing in mind that civil society organizations always play a role in encouraging every citizen to become the subject of development.
PNM has disbursed IDR 164.66 trillion in financing to 13.61 million PNM Mekaar customers as of November 30, 2022. Currently PNM has 4,213 PNM Mekaar service offices and 642 PNM ULaMM service offices throughout Indonesia serving MSMEs in 34 provinces, 513 regencies/cities, and 6,642 districts.
