Eko Saputro:
Srimulat needs fresh blood

EKO Saputro, 43, the eldest son of Srimulat creator Teguh Slamet Rahardjo, began his career at the comedy group as a porter. His job was to lead people to their seats at the comedy theater owned by his father, popularly known as Teguh Srimulat. Eko said he remembered Teguh warning Srimulat performers not to treat him any different. "I dont care if he is my son. If hes lazy, I want you all to reprimand him.
