A collection of hundreds of cultural artifacts from the second phase of repatriation from the Netherlands is on display at the National Museum of Indonesia.
ON September 27, 2024, the National Museum of Indonesia in Jakarta was buzzing with activity as several historical items looted during the Dutch East Indies era were returned to Indonesia. Forklifts were seen transporting large wooden crates into the museum complex, also known as Museum Gajah (the Elephant Museum).
