TOGETHER with the scorching sun, the giant torches at the oil wells baked Babelan one sweltering afternoon in March. But dozens of little kids crowding a field nearby were not bothered by the sizzling heat. They were busily and happily playing dampuh. It is a game using different types of square flat stones such as limestone, agate, jasper, and river rocks. The colors of the stones were beautiful and varied. White, ivory yellow, gray, and black.
