Rakai Pikatan, King Mataram in the middle of the 9th century, was a devout Hindu. He proved it by building a large and expansive temple complex: Prambanan. His wife was Pramodhawardhani from the Sailendra familly, who ruled Sriwijaya in Sumatra. Their marriage seemed to be fine.
