THE long poles appear strong, supporting the cracked buildings in the Prambanan Temple compound, Yogyakarta. A fence has been put up to close tourists’ access to this historical compound. No visitors are allowed to cross the fence to avoid being hit by the stones, the pile of which may at any time collapse.
