Heavy rains in the past two weeks have triggered massive flooding and landslides in many parts of Indonesia. In Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Maluku many areas were under up to 3 meters of floodwater. In Sulawesi floods hit three provinces, forcing thousands to flee their homes and leaving more than 80 dead.
