TWO weeks after the flash floods hit Morowali regency in Central Sulawesi, some of the refugees from Baturube have since last Friday started returning to their respective houses and clearing the mud which had settled in and out of their residences.

Struck by the floods for over a week since July 1, 2007, most people’s houses in the capital town of the North Bungku subdistrict had been inundated up to 2 meters deep.
