Food Crisis in East Nusa Tenggara
THE East Nusa Tenggara provincial government has requested the central government to send in 58,600 tons of rice to help cope with a food crisis in the province. Currently only 1,600 tons of rice is in stock in the province.
“We will distribute the rice,” said Sentianus Medi, head of the East Nusa Tenggara social affairs office, on Wednesday last week.
