Trubus Sudarsono's Women

In the 1950s, then president Sukarno sent a courier to the house of Trubus Sudarsono in Pakem, Yogyakarta, bearing a statue of a nude woman less than 50 centimeters high. Sukarno wanted Trubus to sculpt a larger replica of the statue. Trubus duly reproduced the statue, one-and-a-half times bigger than the original. He called it Si Denok.
