THE yard of the two-story house at the Purwosari complex, Sleman, Yogyakarta, is quite spacious. The well-kept Manila grass lawn is ideal for shade. An elegant, metallic BMW is parked in front of the garage. In this house the former Bantul Regent, Sri Roso, 59, spends his retirement days.
