MORE than half of the petrol depots violate regulations established by Pertamina. This was the result of an inspection by the Integrated Team to Monitor, Oversee and Manage the Impact of Higher Fuel Prices and the Control of Abuse in the Supply and Service of Fuel (Integrated Fuel Team), from May 2005 until June 2006.

The Team investigated 228 petrol stations out of 3,364 depots in all of Indonesia. Of those, only 108 were regarded as being clean.
