Peruri is not allergic to Komori products

THE state-owned Peruri (Indonesian National Mint) is suspected of marking up the cost of buying an intaglio machine from KBA-Giori. Peruri bought the Swiss-made machine in 2006 for about Rp146 billion. Yet, there was an offer from Komori of Japan, a competitor of KBA-Giori, for the same machine for only Rp68 billion.
