THE story began in the late 1970s, when the government was intensively boosting Family Planning (KB). It was a movement to limit births to a maximum of two children per family. Various contraceptives were first introduced: spirals, condoms, uterine devices (IUDs). In the initial phase, a lot of KB program participants met with failure.
