In 2010, the company, Korindo Heavy Industry, won the tender to supply an armada of 69 Transjakarta buses for Busway corridors 9 and 10, valued at Rp106 billion. They buyer was the Jakarta Transportation Office. Barely one year in operation, on November 20, 2011, the cylinder gas tanks in one of the buses exploded when the bus refueled at a gas depot in Pinang Ranti, East Jakarta.
