The End of the Castro Dynasty
CUBA has entered a new era after the National Assembly decided to divert power from Raul Castro to Miguel Diaz-Canel. For the first time since 1959, the communist state is no longer led by the Castro dynasty. The decision to elect Miguel Diaz as Cuba's new president was made by the Assembly last Thursday.
