Theo F. Toemion: “They may look proper but they’re dangerous”

THEO F. Toemion’s face turns red when he is asked about the subject of sugar imports, particularly when asked about his relations with the director of PT Lampung Bintang Semesta (LBS), the company he recommended to be a sugar importer. “Yes, I recommended Gunawan Muchlis,” admitted Toemion, head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), in a trembling voice.
