ASEP Tarwan, former head of the Surya Kencana branch of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in Bogor, entered prison last July. He was found guilty of involvement in the embezzlement of a Rp93.5 billion bank loan. He is now serving a 19.5-year sentence for it, and gave back to the government Rp50 billion.
