VERY soon, the controversial Sukhoi fighter planes will soar through Indonesian airspace. Last May, the Government of Indonesia made a down payment of US$26 million to purchase two Su-27s and two Su-30s. The Russian-made planes are scheduled to participate in the aerial demonstration on October 5 when the Indonesian Military (TNI) celebrates its 58th anniversary.
