IN the beginning, there was a report. It reached the Integrated Gasoline Team in February 2003. It said: Several petrol stations in Jakarta sell fake Pertamax. What it meant by fake was not Pertamax mixed with, for example, diesel. The fake Pertamax here was actually Premium. In other words, the petrol stations cheated by selling Pertamax that was actually Premium gasoline.
